More than 8000 Runners at the Wings for Life World Run
The first Sunday in May was reserved for the Wings for Life World Run, a humanitarian and running spectacle in which, for the 11th consecutive time, on six continents, hundreds of thousands of participants simultaneously ran for the same goal - to make spinal cord injuries curable.
This race is also beloved in Croatia - at the starting line on the Liburnian coast in Zadar, 8000 competitors gathered, supported by a multitude of fans along the entire route, all the way to the Šibenik bridge.

The Wings for Life World Run is a special race with a unique conceptual idea - there is no defined race length; rather, the race only stops when the last runner is passed. This means that every runner, regardless of their fitness level, can participate in the race and achieve their goal.

The winners of the Zadar Wings for Life World Run are Kristijan Rubinić from Jastrebarsko, who reached the 56th kilometer, and Nataša Šustić from Split, the winner of last year's Zadar Wings for Life World Run, who ran this year all the way to Pirovac (51 kilometers).
