Muraj Art & Sound | Zadar Strings Quartet
The Zadar Strings quartet was created out of a desire to enrich and develop the Zadar music scene and bring quality music closer to a wider audience through a diverse and accessible repertoire.
As part of the Muraj Art & Sound festival, the quartet brings a concert that combines the most beautiful melodies of different musical genres in the unique sound of a string ensemble. The audience will enjoy works of classical music, world hits, film music, jazz standards and covers of Croatian authors in special arrangements.
The program creates a dynamic and emotional musical experience that connects art and popular music and is intended for audiences of all generations. The concert will take place on August 27, 2026 at 9 pm on the bastion of St. Rocco (Muraj) at the Zadar City Walls, on the impressive city walls under UNESCO protection in Zadar.
In addition to live music, a handicrafts fair will be held from 6 p.m., where local craftsmen and creatives will present their unique products. The fair is organized in cooperation with the Zadar Tourist Board and the towns Association of Trades and Crafts with the aim of promoting local tradition, art and handicrafts.
