Broad beans, lentils and chick-peas belong to the lentil group. Let the chick-peas stay overnight in warm water. Drain them in the morning and let them boil. Drain again and boil in new water until they get soft. Drain, add salt, pepper and olive oil. Potatoes cut into cubes can be added while the chick-peas are cooking. Serve warm with salted or dried fish.
