Every summer the Croatian National Theatre of Zadar in cooperation with the Zadar Tourist Board organizes Zadar Jazz & Blues Festival. The first year of the Festival was 2015.
Concerts take place on the beautiful open-air terrace of the Museum of Ancient Glass in Zadar, which offers a beautiful view of the Jazine bay, city bridge and walls. In such an atmosphere famous names of jazz and blues scene like Brian Auger ´Blues Oblivion, Neal Black & The Healers, Camille Thurmann & the MMT Quartet, Fred Wesley, Saskia Laroo and No BS Brass Band, Joyce Elaine Yuille, Gangbé Brass Band and Wawau Adler, Trilok Gurtu, Dobet Gnahore & Damir Kukuruzović Django Group presented themselves playing live.

Carving his own musical destiny with honesty and power, Eric Bibb is a remarkable live performer who has performed for Nelson Mandela and with renowned artists such as Charlie Musselwhite, Toumani Diabaté, Glen Scott, Larry Crockett, Habib Koité, Jools Holland and many more.

The Bibb sound is unique, no matter which direction he chooses Eric follows his heart and it hasn’t steered him wrong yet, propelling the blues into a new century.He is declared to the American born singer “You are what the blues in the new century should be about.”
Entrance tickets are purchasable from Monday to Friday prior to the show at the cash register of the Croatian National Theater in Zadar from 11 AM to 1 PM and from 7 PM to 8:45 PM , as well as half an hour before the beginning of the concert in front of the terrace of the Museum of Ancient Glass.
