Zadar's Christmas celebrations are getting a hip-hop twist! On Saturday, 12 December, Božićni Gramofon at the City Market teams up with Urbofon to welcome Kandžija, one of Croatia's most original rappers, known for his sharp lyrics, offbeat humour and high-energy live performances.
Hailing from Osijek in eastern Croatia, Kandžija has built a loyal following with his unique blend of hip-hop, funk, rock and playful social commentary. Tracks such as "Nema labavo", "Donji Miholjac", "Đuro" and "Jelena" have made him a standout name on the Croatian alternative music scene. His witty storytelling, clever wordplay and engaging stage presence make his concerts just as entertaining as they are musically exciting.
Presented in collaboration with Urbofon, this special evening brings a fresh alternative sound to the festive atmosphere of Zadar's City Market. Expect great beats, plenty of humour and a lively crowd ready to enjoy something a little different. If you love hip-hop and live music with personality, this is one Christmas Market event you won't want to miss!
