Palo Alto Youth Chamber Singers from California, USA to Tour Slovenia & Croatia in June 2026
The acclaimed Palo Alto Youth Chamber Singers, one of California’s premier high school choral ensembles, will embark on an international concert tour to Slovenia and Croatia in June 2026. Under the direction of Brittney Kerby and Michael Najar, the choir will present a sacred program of vocal music in a series of performances across the region.
The Chamber Singers are known for their dynamic repertoire, regularly performing masterworks by composers such as Bach, Haydn, Mozart, and Brahms, while also championing new music through commissions from emerging composers. Their artistry has earned them numerous awards and recognition as one of the top high school choirs in the State of California. The ensemble has an extensive history of international touring, with recent performances in world-renowned venues including La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, St. Peter’s Cathedral in Rome, and La Madeleine in Paris. The upcoming tour to Slovenia and Croatia continues this tradition of cultural exchange and musical excellence. Also featured within the program are the Madrigal Singers, an ensemble established in 1967, who celebrate the music and pageantry of the Renaissance.
The tour will be led by directors Brittney Kerby and Michael Najar, both distinguished educators and musicians. Through this tour, the Palo Alto Youth Chamber Singers aim to share their passion for sacred choral music while fostering cultural connections and musical collaboration abroad.
