''Pijat na pijaci '' | A Plate at the Market

“Pijat na Pijaci” is conceived as a gastronomic event that will take place every Saturday at the Zadar Market from 11 AM to 5 PM (October 18 and 25, and November 8, 15, and 22, 2025). In a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, local chefs, restaurateurs, family farms, and small producers will come together to offer visitors a rich array of flavors and aromas that awaken all the senses.

In addition to the diverse culinary offer, the event will feature themed workshops for both children and adults, creating a unique atmosphere that connects good food, people, and positive energy. “Pijat na Pijaci” is set to become a new, laid-back gathering place for creating shared moments and memories — a place where locals can reconnect with each other and with their city.

The organizers emphasize that the goal of the project is to bring life back into the historic city center, connect local hospitality providers with the community, and showcase the authentic flavors of Zadar’s gastronomy. Moreover, “Pijat na Pijaci” is envisioned as a platform for the creativity of Zadar’s chefs and restaurateurs — a place where they can present new concepts, dishes, and ideas.
