Fortis Club | Ideal Place for Entertainment, Recreation & Business Meetings

This entertainment center opened in July of 2021. The entire center is divided into three floors. It consists of a conference hall of 525 m2, which is an ideal location for all types of events from meetings, product presentations to conferences. 

The Fitness & Health Club of 800 m2 is on the first floor. Break Point Restaurant, Sport Shop as well as Deli Glass Shop, which together consist of a surface area of 1,200 m2 are on that same floor, while the Strike Bar entertainment center with a bowling alley, billiards and table soccer/football is on the ground floor.  

The best that Fortis Club offers is best known by Damir Kasumagić, the sport and event manager.

- Fortis Club is a center of entertainment and experience, a multi-practical building that is used in different periods of the year for various things. It is a unique building where a congress group can rent a building and organize its conference on the middle floor, have an active or insanity program for the group on the first floor and later go down to the ground floor, to the Strike Bar for entertainment and team building, he told us.

Fortis Club can be booked as a whole but it is important to say that it is open to the public for organizing celebrations, parties, weddings or birthdays. 

- The first thing we did for the public was to have a card for the Fitness & Health Club, for the fitness club. We would not say it is really a fitness club, but more like a club where members can use our sports fields, and by buying a ticket they also get access to our resort. We have members from the city who have been coming from the first day we opened. We later started offering the Strike Bara to the locals, Damir explained. 

Of course, the local population is very interested in the herein mentioned entertainment center where they can play “American bowling”, which was very interesting at the time when it opened. The demand for this part of the Fortis Club offer is very high, our interlocutor pointed out.

- We later noticed that the center was barely visited, during the day in particular, and then we started organizing children's birthday parties where we have had 250 such parties. The fitness club was the first project followed by children's birthday parties, areas for entertainment and a bowling alley. We later started renting the Break Point. Restaurant.  The place is ideal for private celebrations or group receptions. The largest space is the congress hall. We began with local conferences, and we have an association, a dance hall respectively, with Borik and this will be the fourth consecutive time that they are organizing their annual production. 

A large and modernly equipped congress hall can accommodate up to 500 people. It is a theater setting with 480 seats, also ideal for gala dinners, and suitable for fair and festival events.

- It's great due to the stage where lectures can be held. We also have some separate rooms where certain workshops and the like can be held later. But I think that Fortis Club is convenient as a facility where events can be held and its large surrounding area. Perhaps easy access and organization is one of the biggest advantages, and there is also a large garage in front of the facility where many vehicles can be parked, so when we organize an event for 300, 400 people, everything is very practical, he stated.

Fortis Club offers sports facilities that were opened three years ago. At the time there was only one multicourt, while presently there are seven tennis courts, two padel courts, two for beach volleyball, three multi courts, mini golf courts and a golf range for guests interested in golf. Our host announced that soon this offer would have an indoor golf range.

- As part of the resort, we have a 14-meter-high climbing wall at the Diadora Hotel, which we also use for children's birthday parties. There are two water centers for the summer offer, kayaks, pedal boats and the like, and during the summer there are also horses.

As already mentioned, Fortis Club is accessible throughout the year except for the New Year period when it is closed for refreshment. It is open every day from 7 am until entertainment lasts in the Strike Bar, with the Fitness & Health Club first opening. 

Appointments in the bowling alley, which has four lines, must be booked, especially during the summer months when there are many guests in the resort.

- Regarding the public, bookings are essential due to the guests of the resort using the space. We communicate with Fortis Club guests through Instagram where our telephone number and email address can be seen, Damir pointed out.

Due to its extremely wide range of possibilities, this area is an important part of the resort and its offer, which is not only sun and sea, but also the opportunity for leisure.

- The construction’s aim was to prolong the season for closed spaces are lacking in tourism. This is a closed facility that provides guests with good contents in the pre-season and post-season. In case of bad weather, guests have the possibility of bowling, using the fitness club, and playing games with their family, our host concluded.
