Free night bus line 12 during Advent in Zadar

The City of Zadar is introducing a special night circular bus line that will provide residents and visitors with a safe and free ride home after an evening out during the Advent season. Night bus line 12 will start operating on Saturday, 29 November, and will run on weekends until 28 December 2025.

The buses will depart at 00:15 and 02:15, and the ride will be free of charge thanks to an EU project within the URBACT IV programme.


Line 12 will operate on the following circular route:

Poluotok (ex. Bus Station) – Poluotok (Obala kralja Tomislava / Narodni list) – Bus Station – Ante Starčevića – Borka Šarlija Kese – Put Biliga – Hrvatskog sabora – Put Vrela – Matekovića Brig – Put Bokanjca – Put Nina – Put Petrića – Put Dikla – A. G. Matoša – Obala kralja Trpimira – Antuna Mihanovića – Asje Petričić – Put Nina – Ivana Meštrovića – Oko Vrulja – J. J. Strossmayera – Obala kneza Branimira – Obala kralja Tomislava – Poluotok.


The introduction of the night bus line brings a new service tailored to the needs of local residents, especially young people who stay out late on weekends. Mayor Šime Erlić expressed his hope that the line will continue to operate even after Advent and eventually become available throughout the year.


The night circular bus line is introduced as part of the CITIES AFTER DARK project, focused on developing and improving the night-time economy. The project is implemented in cooperation with the city-owned company Liburnija.
