At The Zadar Craft Beer Festival Nine Breweries Are Offering 40 Types Of Beer

This will be the seventh edition of this popular end-of-summer festival.  Since it was first held in 2015, this festival has aroused great interest and recorded a large number of visitors. The location has not changed and it is at the pier in the central part of the Zadar waterfront walkway, officially at Obala kralja Petra Krešimira IV.

This year's edition, to the joy of all beer lovers, was announced by the organizer Jakov Kolega:

- This year ten small breweries will offer more than 40 types and styles of beer. There will be a gastro corner with food, a corner for companions and escorts who do not like beer, but who can refresh themselves with cocktails or other drinks, as well as an entertainment part with DJ performances. 

DJ Bakula, DJ Ivchich and DJ Davor will be responsible for the music program. .

With reference to the offer of beer and breweries, beer lovers will be able to taste the beer of the following breweries: Brlog Cooperative Brewery, Lab Split, Križevačka Brewery, Razum Brewery, Donat Brewery, Međimurski lepi dečki Brewery, Mlinarica Brewery, Ad Brewery, Varoška Brewery and Medvedgrad Brewery.

However, this time the organizer has something new in store. 

- This year, the emphasis is on reducing the trash generated at the festival. For this reason, we will have reusable glasses. We believe that we should respect the location where the festival is being held and that we should leave it as clean as possible, with as little negative impact on the environment as possible. We are cooperating with the utility company Čistoća Zadar which does an excellent job in cleaning festival areas, and with the use of reusable festival glasses, we will reduce the total amount of trash to a minimum. We are aware that plastic waste (disposable glasses) is the biggest issue and we have thus solved it with the use of reusable glasses. Visitors have the choice to keep the glass as a souvenir or return it with a refund of the deposit for the glass – our interlocutor announced.

The organizers of the festival are very pleased with how it has been accepted by visitors and believe that this one will be likewise or maybe even better visited than the former ones. 

- We are very satisfied and fulfilled with the desire to organize this festival every year.
