Here is the Gastronomic Offer of Advent In Zadar

Duck breast with mlinci, sausages with truffles, burgers with homemade pečenica, mulled rosé, winter cocktails, and much more are on offer at this year's Christmas market in Zadar. After two years, the people of Zadar and all visitors will be able to enjoy a really rich gastronomic offer on each day of Advent, with some surprises at weekends and on holidays.

Among the 24 tiny wooden houses on Petar Zoranić Square and Five Wells Square, everyone will be able to find something for themselves, whether it is food or drink.

Nutcracker's Hut (A13) 

The nutcracker burger is the primary speciality of the Orašar's hut. Along with a special sauce, they also add crispy onions and chips, which guarantees the burger's crunchiness and juiciness. You can sweeten it up with a dessert called Covered Brownie. It is a brownie with ice cream and bush fruit topping. Besides mulled gin, you can also taste gin in combination with teranino liqueur in Orašar's hut.

Street Food (A12) 

As many as four types of burgers are on offer at Street Food hut. As the team claims, they have something for everyone - mild, classic, vegetarian and one with fried chicken. In addition to homemade mild or spicy sausages, they also offer excellent veal hot dogs. Street Food hut also makes a sandwich of homemade dried pečenica that has a fantastic aroma.

Small Wooden Hut (A11)

The small wooden house offers burgers with exciting names such as Burger Winter Fire, 100% beef, roasted onions, arugula, cheddar cheese and a unique Winter Fire sauce. Other burgers are no less intriguing: Santa Clause Burger and Small House Burger, with or without cheese addition.

Picnic Winter Hut (A10)

At the Picnic Winter Hut, you can enjoy an exciting dish - duck with mlinci(dumplings) in the street food variant. It is a slow-cooked duck breast in a vacuum that is finished on the grill, served in a brioche pastry with a winter version of cabbage on anise and cinnamon and barbeque cranberry sauce, crispy mlinci and a brie cheese espum (foam). The offer of drinks and beverages is not neglected either. You can taste great combinations of warm cocktails at this hut, such as vodka with beetroot, boiled cardamom syrup, and interesting variants of mulled gin. For those who like mulled wines, Picnic Winter Hut also prepares mulled rosé with maraschino. 

Mistletoe (A9) 

The speciality of this house cannot be called otherwise but Mistletoe burger, a "home" burger. The offer also includes BarBaQburger with a barbeque sauce and homemade sausages, after which you can switch to delicious fritule(fritters). 

La Famiglia meets Congo Hut (A1)

The two restaurants teamed up and offered their most popular and sought-after dishes and drinks. Along with the excellent food, La Familia meets Congo hut also offers winter cocktails. The cocktails have two bases - green apple and chai tea, and the other flavours are cherry and vanilla, which means the cocktail can be combined with gin, vodka and even whiskey. In their excellent offer, they also have boiled whiskey, whose basis is hazelnuts.

La Baia Hut (A2)

La Baia burger and La Baia sausage - these are particular specialities of this house. A specially designed sauce accompanies the burger for absolute gastronomic pleasure. The pleasure does not end here. You can go on with their desserts because they offer excellent pastéis de Nata, small chocolate cakes, and an ice lolly called Snow White - a warm cake with apples and vanilla ice cream. 

Kod Rudolfa (A3) 

This hut has been at Zadar's Advent for the fifth time so far. At Rudolf's, they offer only what is characteristic of the Zadar area: a white divenica and pečenica sandwich. From the drinks, you can try mulled wine and rum punch. 

Hedonist Hut (A4) 

The already famous burgers, which are their trademark, are an indispensable part of the offer of the Advent Hedonist hut. From next week on, this gastronomic team is announcing something special: meatballs in rolls, i.e. ćuftice in pecivo with homemade salsa. Yum-yum! 

Lord's Hut (A5)

In addition to drinks of all kinds, homemade liqueurs mulled wine and mulled gin, Lord's hut also offers delicious homemade sausages, cheeseburgers, burgers and delicious fritters. 

Santa's Hut (A6)

In Santa's hut, you can taste seafood, one hundred per cent beef burgers with cheddar cheese, two types of burgers and two types of cheeseburgers. There is also draught beer, premium Maraska brandy, and all famous whiskey brands. With homemade sausages made from homemade minced meat, they will prepare a new surprise on their menu every weekend.

OX Hut (B9) 

In addition to the standard offer of three types of sausages in rolls with side dishes, you should not miss trying the special Hoxdog at the Ox hut. This is a house speciality, the Debrecen sausage with various side dishes. We cannot avoid mentioning three original burgers. You can also sweeten it all up with fritters with topping. Along with mulled wine, gin, rum punch, at the Oxnude house, you can try several types of beer, including that of the Zadar brewery Brlog

Christmas Night Hut (B10)

"Shots" are not missing in the offer of the Christmas Night house, but in order not to consume them on an empty stomach, there are, as they call them, Advent snacks. These include sausages, jacket potatoes and something sweet in the end - sweet balls.

Red Fox Burger Hut (B11) 

Lamb and baby beef burgers, game sausages, sausages (divenice) and barbecues - this is more or less the Red Fox Burger hut offers. In addition to fritters, they will offer kroštule, homemade cones and cheese cake, unique dishes such as cod and game stew in the cottage at weekends. 

Slavonian magic Hut (B12)

The team from the Slavonian Magic stall are regular guests of Zadar Advent with a recognizable offer of homemade sausages that they produce themselves and for which there is always great interest. Also unavoidable is their famous cocktail Hot bećarac with hot peppers, apple juice, grape brandy, which, they revealed to us, was created entirely by accident and proved to be a great success.

Branimir Hut (B8) 

"Your burger" can be not only yours but anyone who comes to Branimir's house. And maybe someone will opt for a Grinch burger or a Spicy Santa burger. In addition, there is homemade divenica and spicy sausage, but also Čiketina and Steak sandwiches.

Winterfell hut (B7) 

There is no fear of a harsh winter at this cottage where three equally fine and delicious burgers are waiting for you - Crosby, Stills and Nash. Phenomenal hot drinks and a rich offer of soft and alcoholic drinks are another part of the house Oštrozimlje. It should be mentioned that there are also occasional desserts such as fritters, cakes or pies. They also offer special lunch menus, and you take your pick.

Lion's Hut (B6)

The Lion's in their offer have a large selection of sausages such as Debrecen, Carniolan, spicy, homemade, white, Slavonian, sausage with cheese and Pannonian. One thing is clear - nothing is missing, not even the rich offer of drinks and beverages. Of course, fritters, whether large or small, are also inevitable.

Kod Rođe Hut (B5) 

When you visit the Kod Rođe cottage, treat yourself to homemade sausages and fritters with mulled wine. You won't go wrong if you want an authentic Advent atmosphere. 

Burgers & More Hut (B4)

Burgers & More specialities are certainly sausages with truffles and Grana Padana. They arrived directly from Slavonia, as well as all the meat they prepared. They also offer burger Smokey, and the latest "burger" name is Double bacon, which speaks for itself. 

Xmas Factory (B3)

Aged rump steak in special flavoured rolls and three burgers are the main menus on the XmasFactory cottage. Winterburger comes in flavoured rolls with burgers, caramelized onions, pickles and unique sauces. The Slavonian burger arrives with a spread of greaves, Kulen and ham, and a secret sauce. You can also consume some of the selected winter cocktails by Stipe.

Christmas Salsa Rossa (B2)

The first on the Christmas Salsa Rossa hut menu is Dreamy burger, designed by Petar Pupovac for this house, followed by Buncek burger, Rudolf snack (a tortilla with spicy chicken and vegetables), Holly Jolly sausage with a sauerkraut sauce and sarma snack in rolls. An exciting dessert called Pumpkintree is certainly interesting for the palate, made from pumpkin with topping. 

Finger Bar (B1)

The menu of this hut certainly does not lack in interesting names. In addition to Finger Burgers, there are also Spicy Christmas, Burger di Zara, Kukuriku burger, Klempo in Marinade. You can also choose the Three of a Kind option, ie. the mini editions of Spicy Christmas, Kukuriku and Finger Burgers together, so try it all at once! There are also various sausages and sweet desserts, as well as the offer "For the young and elderly". In any case, there is certainly nothing missing in this hut!

Zadar Kids Hut (A8)

Street sarma is the name of the first dish offered by the hut Zadarska dica. They procured the sarma meat from local family farms, and it is two smaller sarmas served in a roll with cabbage and sour cream, garlic and chive. "Wind in the back" is the name of a homemade bean dish with sausage. The arranged buncek (pork thigh) is cooked with pepper and onion and is served in rolls with cabbage and white sauce. They have not forgotten those who do not eat meat, so they offer delicious pumpkin cream soups with pumpkin seeds. There is also one famous dessert - doughnut, but the offer of this house comes in a slightly different edition, with bacon and bass or cottage cheese. "Zadarska dica" gives all the proceeds for the rehabilitation of Petra Adžić. The humanitarian project "Zadarska dica" of the Croatian Football Club Zadar continues to work. This time they decided to help the girl Petra Adžić, who recently had a stroke and needs funds for her rehabilitation. As they settled in early October to rent a house at Advent, the story of 15-year-old Petra encouraged them to donate all their income to charity and thus help her family. The company Pura Vida also joined the action. After the story about Petra and the consequences of the stroke came out, they contacted her family and found out that she needed neurorehabilitation, which cost 15 to 20,000 euros. In this way, they decided to help them. Otherwise, "Zadarska dica" is a project that cooperates with other associations in Zadar County and helps them. They are also available to all individuals who need a fundraising campaign to help their condition.
