Škojada – 3 Islands, 3 Challenges

Škojada was launched with the aim of strengthening connections between the Zadar islands, preserving island customs and intangible cultural heritage, and enriching the tourism offer during the post-season period. The programme combines sports competitions, traditional games, island gastronomy, cultural heritage and evening entertainment.

The sports and competition programme will feature island teams competing in bocce, tug-of-war, as well as the traditional card games briškula and trešeta.

Throughout the day, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the cultural and traditional heritage of Premuda, Silba and Olib, learn more about island customs and games, and enjoy local products and gastronomy. Following the competitions, the programme will continue with an award ceremony and medal presentation, while the day will conclude with an evening music programme and a friendly gathering.

“Škojada – 3 Islands, 3 Challenges” is an invitation to discover authentic island life, meet the local community and enjoy an atmosphere that brings together three Zadar islands through tradition, competition and entertainment.
