Klapa Kontrada
On Wednesday, 9 December, at 7:30 PM, Petar Zoranić Square welcomes Klapa Kontrada, a vocal group from Zadar that has been celebrating Dalmatia's rich musical heritage for more than two decades.
Founded in 2005, Kontrada combines traditional klapa harmonies with instrumental arrangements and fresh interpretations of familiar songs. Alongside original compositions from their album "Lipa li si, Dalmacijo", their varied repertoire includes traditional Dalmatian melodies, Croatian pop favourites and even rock classics with a distinctive Mediterranean twist.
With Christmas lights shining, festive treats all around and beautiful harmonies filling the square, Klapa Kontrada promises a relaxed evening of music, local tradition and the warm Dalmatian spirit of Zadar Christmas Market!
