Muraj Art & Sound | One Night in Havana
One Night in Havana is led by Lazaro Yoel, a professional dancer from Havana, and Irena Jurjević, who lived and studied dance in Cuba. They were brought together by their love of Cuban music and dance, and from that meeting came the idea to convey a part of the authentic atmosphere of Havana to the audience through music, movement and a shared experience.
One Night in Havana takes you straight to the heart of the Cuban capital through music, dance and the atmosphere that reigns on the streets of Havana. You can expect dance performances, interactive workshops and the opportunity to learn the basic steps of Latin dances such as Salsa, Rumba, Cha-cha-cha and Merengue - without previous experience and without the fear of "not knowing how to dance".
This is an evening for everyone who loves music, movement and good energy and wants to feel what a real relaxed Cuban fiesta looks like, at least for a few hours.
The program is intended for everyone - from lovers of Latin culture and music and salsa and bachata dancers, to those who have never danced, but want to experience the joy, connection and energy for which Cuba is famous all over the world.
In addition to live music, a handicrafts fair will be held from 6 p.m., where local craftsmen and creatives will present their unique products. The fair is organized in cooperation with the Zadar Tourist Board and the towns Association of Trades and Crafts with the aim of promoting local tradition, art and handicrafts.
