Višnjik Winter Park
This year, the Višnjik Sports Centre is organizing the Winter Park, an event that we believe will become traditional, and which will take place in the outdoor space of the centre, on the north side of the Krešimir Ćosić Hall.
The plan is to open the Winter Park on the Zadar City Day, 24th November at 5.30 p.m. and for the event to last until 15th January 2022.
The following facilities will be available to visitors of the Winter Park at Višnjik:
- Uncovered ice-skating rink as big as 800 square metres, with an attractive Christmas tree in the middle
- Covered ski slope and sledge slope intended for the youngest, covering an area of 500 square metres
- Book fair organized by the Mozaik publishing house
- Colourful and joyful amusement park
- Several really attractive catering chalets
- Concerts by local musicians on Saturdays, i.e., a programme called Zadar plays (AKA Crescendo, Rockatansky, Kanela, The Billy, Zaratino ...) and on 11th December a concert by one of the most famous national rock musicians, Darko Rundek with the band
- Children's theatre performances
As a socially responsible company, SC Višnjik has provided and offered free ice-skating time slots to all Zadar kindergartens and primary schools. Furthermore, their youngest visitors will have a certified ski coach at their disposal, who will make the first ski steps for the little ones easier, with all the necessary equipment for them (skis, boots, etc.).
Also, they have designated an area for local charity associations.
In any case, this year they are preparing a packed programme of events at the Višnjik Sports Centre, with the basic intention - bringing sport and sports activities closer to our youngest citizens, and there will be plenty of fun for everyone else. Book lovers should also be delighted.
The partners of this year's Winter Park are Real Grupa from Zagreb, the company Elan from Slovenia, the Croatian Olympic Committee, Pelagos Net Farma and many others.
