3rd Zadar Monodrama Festival

Lovers of theatrical performing arts in Zadar can look forward to 11 days of programs at the 3rd Zadar Monodrama Festival. The festival, organized by the Drama Plus Association and the Puppet Theatre Zadar, begins on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 11 a.m. on Narodni trg with the performance “Mirror in the Mirror: The Labyrinth” by Michael Ende.

The official opening of the 3rd Zadar Monodrama Festival will take place at 9 p.m. at the Puppet Theatre Zadar with the puppet drama performance “Crime and Punishment”, dedicated to our actor, puppeteer, and leading performer of the Puppet Theatre Zadar, Zlatko Košta. The play is based on the novel by F. M. Dostoevsky and produced by the Youth Theatre, Novi Sad. After the performance, starting at 10:30 p.m., in front of the Puppet Theatre on Poljana Branka Stojakovića, there will be a concert by the Split-based musicians “New Gondoliers”.

Tickets can be purchased and collected at the box office of the Puppet Theatre Zadar, Sokolska 1, Zadar, from August 28 to September 7, 2025.
